State Convention is coming to Greenville!!!
Congratulations to our chapter for being awarded the bid for Year-End Convention in January, 2007! We will host nearly 200 (or more!) Jaycees from around the state January 26-28 as we all celebrate our accomplishments from 2006. This could be when our chapter is announced as the number ONE chapter in the state! It could be when our president is announced as the number ONE president in the state! We'll be having our 2007 Installation Banquet to induct our new 2007 officers on Sunday Jan 28 after convention ends and we'll be hosting an alumni reunion during the weekend as well! It's sure to be a HUGE event!! Mark your calendar now and ask convention chairs, Kathy & Randy Cox how you can help!!
Ink Out Cancer - 20% and rising...
We have now achieved 20% of our goal in the Ink Out Cancer project!! We have raised $114.50 towards our original goal of $550 for the NC Jaycee Outpatient Treatment Center at Duke. It's because of YOU! Please keep donating those ink & toner cartridges to the cause! Currently, the people that have donated the most cartridges from within the chapter are Kathy & Randy Cox. Outside of the chapter, it's Daryl McNair. He's the state program manager for the Duke Cancer Center priority project (www.ncjaycees.org). WAY TO GO TEAM!

Jaycee Plug in Rocky Horror
I was doing my remote control curls the other night and saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show on HBO and heard "This isn't the Junior Chamber of Commerce" and had to find the clip to make sure. Maybe it's not too risque and our excellent webmaster will let it stay up here.
And i was looking at Jaycee stuff on myspace and I found The Junior Chamber of Commerce Players, Pittsburgh's official Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast. Just click on their name to see their myspace page.
