Randy Cox, Chairman of the Board / Treasurer
Randy Cox is a property manager with Hearthside Rentals in Greenville and a Realtor with Coldwell Banker of Greenville. Randy joined the Jaycees in 2000 and has held the positions of Treasurer and Director. Randy has chaired numerous projects including the Shuck & Pluck, Beer Sales Fundraiser, and the July 4th Fireworks Celebration. Randy graduated from the 2005 & 2006 NCAA Div 1-AA National Football Champion Appalachian State University. In 2007 Randy was recognized as the top local president in North Carolina after leading the Greenville Jaycees to 1st place finishes in the Parade of Excellence for all three trimesters in 2006. |

Josh Spivey, Community Development Vice President
Joshua 'Flounder' Spivey is a student at East Carolina University. Josh joined the Jaycees in 2006 and became the youngest member of the board of directors as the Jay Y Director. He is a big fan of Nascar, golf, fishing and is an excellent piano player. After being in the Jaycees for only 3 months he has chaired the Adopt-A-Highway project and has helped in much more. |

Karen Smith, Individual Development Vice President
Karen is the Associate Director of the First Year Center at East Carolina University. She joined the Jaycees in 2004 after moving to Greenville and has served as the Membership VP, Newsletter Editor and the chair of the Greenville Christmas Parade and Santa Letter projects. Karen enjoys going to the beach, playing Ms. Pac-man, and spending time with her husband BJ, dog Casey, and cat, Maya. |

Karen Bradshaw, Management Vice President
Karen joined the Greenville Jaycees in 2006, shortly after relocating to Greenville. Her decision to join was based on the enthusiasm of current members as well as their involvement in the community. Karen is a lifetime resident of Eastern North Carolina, but states living in Greenville is by far “the best.” Karen is a Broker, REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Landmark Properties in Greenville. She enjoys meeting new people, spending time with friends, going to the beach, cooking and entertaining. |

Kathy Cox, State Director / The Purpose Editor
Kathy Cox is a professor of speech pathology at East Carolina University and a big fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. She joined the Jaycees in 2000 and has held the positions of Individual Development Vice President, Membership Vice President, Treasurer, and Newsletter Editor. She has chaired many projects including the Ink Out Cancer fundraiser for the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center and the July 4th Fireworks Celebration. |

BJ Smith, Web Site Director
BJ is Account Executive of Interactive Design for Evolve Inc, a marketing and PR firm in Greenville. He is also an Instructor at Pitt Community College. BJ joined the Jaycees in 2001 and has held the positions of director, Shuck 'n Pluck Chairperson, and NC Jaycees Webmaster. Since joining the Jaycees he has received the Presidential Award of Honor by 68th State President Shannon Foster, Team Player Award by by 70th State President Joanie Cramer, the Faith-In-God Award, named All-Star Director, and been a member of two state champion debate teams. |
