Excerpt from What is a Jaycee? by Michael Curran:
A question I receive quite often, a question
on the surface that seems easy enough to answer, in fact I have
become quite adept at regurgitating the following: "The United
States Junior Chamber (Jaycees) gives young people between
the ages of 21 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of
success for themselves in the areas of business development,
management skills, individual training, community service, and
international connections" (that passage actually comes from
the US Jaycees Website in the about section). Sounds good
doesn't it? But as many of you have come to know, it's not all
together accurate.
