Social Events

The number one reason that adults age 21-40 join the Jaycees organization is to meet people. The Greenville Jaycees organization is a great tool for meeting people - to expand one's business contacts, to increase one's networking and for increasing social activities. Throughout the year, there are numerous social opportunities for the members of the Greenville Jaycees with a variety of interests. During 2006, the following events were held for the members. Many are annual events!

• Monthly Membership Socials (see 2007 list below)
• Annual Holiday Party (in December each year)
• Annual Thanksgiving Dinner (typically the 3rd Tuesday of November)
• Annual Halloween Party
• Dinner & A Movie Nights (popular in the summer!)
• Tailgating before and Attending ECU Pirate football and baseball games
• Emerald Isle Beach Festival Weekend (March)
• Annual Super Bowl Party (great food!!)
• Various Events (birthday parties, baby showers, wedding shower, bachelor parties - as these events are celebrated within the organization.)
• Did we mention Parties?!?

2007 Events

In 2007 we plan to keep holding our annual events, have another softball team and add some new events to the calendar including a revolving poker game, dinner & a movie events and other events designed merely to bring Jaycees and guests together for fun!
